The Dutch Soccer Training method is recognized around the world as one of the most effective training tools to become a better soccer player. At Soccer Centers in New Jersey we have developed the DUTCH TOTAL SOCCER philosophy, which is based on the Dutch training method, but geared towards the American soccer player. This philosophy is now spreading throughout the United States of America.
In keeping with Dutch Total Soccer philosophy our soccer coaches are hired direct from the Netherlands with degrees from the KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Association), ALO (Academy for Physical Education and Sports Management) or C.I.O.S. (Central Institute of Sports Education). The C.I.O.S. and A.L.O. Academies are full time colleges where students are taught all aspects of the soccer game, from sports psychology to conditioning and from teaching young players to professional game analysis.
The Dutch Total Soccer coach is not only a coach, but a teacher, as well. Each year 1200 aspiring coaches apply to the C.I.O.S. Academy and only 20 get admitted into each school and out of that number only HALF will graduate from the school. Some of its graduates are world-class coaches; current Turkey Head Coach Guus Hiddink is one of them. All coaches go through a minimum of 3600 hours of field and classroom training at C.I.O.S.
